ABOUT US....
VW Books has
been in business for well over 30 years. The current owners, Liz & Rod Sleigh, like
its founders Brian & Pat Screaton are life long Volkswagen enthusiasts and
deeply involved with the Volkswagen Club world. The business exists to supply
the needs of fellow motoring enthusiasts, predominantly those who have a love
for Porsche, AUDI or Volkswagen cars although we will endeavour to source any
current motoring title whatever the manqué. Motoring and Motor Trade
technical books are also readily available.
We do not have a retail outlet, all business is done either at Shows or by Mail
Order. We endeavour to answer all telephone queries and orders personally although
you will encounter a machine sometimes. FAX and e-mail communication is just
as welcome so please feel free to talk with us.

The sections
of our Catalogue can be viewed using the navigation on the left of this screen. However
there are areas where subjects overlap so please enjoy the search for your chosen
topic or use our 'Search for a
book' service to help you find your chosen topic.. More details of a title can be viewed by clicking the 'Cover Picture'
icon.
Please note that where an item is shown as 'Stock Item (Used) it is NOT in new
condition. Please feel free to make further enquiries as to the condition of
the book before purchase.

We also stock a number of picture
/ video CDs on various Volkswagen subjects including Dune Buggies, their evolution
and construction. Historical pictures, adverts, graphics and Mpeg video clips
have been gleaned from German archive material and are available on your PC.
Titles appear as 'Electronic Edition' in the appropriate Manuals & Handbooks
sections.
Whilst we endeavour to describe items in our catalogue, both
on line and printed, as accurately as possible we cannot be held responsible
for any errors or misunderstandings from these descriptions.

The catalogue available on this site lists most of the titles that are currently available from stock. In the text box to the right of the book description you will find it's stock status. 99% of the time 'Stock Item' means just that.
Amongst the various titles listed you will find our VWB code numbers in the range 9000 - 9999, these numbers denote either second hand or shop soiled books. Often their condition is indicated in the text but you are most welcome to enquire about any particular item should you be interested in it.
Our database of Volkswagen books is ever growing, if you have an enquiry about something not listed or you have information on any VW book either new or old we will be most interested to hear about it.
